EARTH TO

Peru

You’ll discover that some of the best travel destinations in Peru predate modern history. Before the arrival of the Spanish Conquistadors, Peru was the birthplace of the Incas, one of the most powerful empires of that time. The city of Cusco (registered with UNESCO) was their heart.

Through a collaborative effort between mutual labor forces and tight-knit management, the Incas successfully built one of the most significant archaeological sites in the world. Machu Picchu is indeed an architectural marvel, standing nearly 8,000 feet above sea level.

Beyond that, other travel destinations in Peru include the Nazca Lines, mysterious geoglyphs etched into the desert, Paracas, Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountain), and the natural oasis of Huacachina.

The Peruvian culture is a vibrant mix of indigenous and colonial influences, reflected in its music, festivals, cuisine, and long history of handicrafts. Hear the Andean panpipes and check out the intricate weaving techniques preserved through Indigenous tribes.

Come here and walk the bridge connecting past and present.

Travel in Peru was one of the most eye-opening experiences I’d ever had, and it was also my introduction to South America! I loved the fusion dishes, as well as the traditional cuisines I sampled.

No surprise, Peruvian cuisine is often considered one of the best in the world. A blend of Indigenous ingredients and culturally diverse variations, noting the country’s challenging history.
